The Taiwanese government put about $209 mil. in a joint project with Intel
for developing the largest Wi-Max infrastructure from the world. It is a
win-win-win situation -- national infrastructure development that would
provide the development background for local companies come up with cool
apps. Intel's advantages are obvious methinks. That's one of the reasons for
which most of the big things will come from Asia.
