I was mentioning a few days ago about the existence of the e-Government initiative whereas the public would have the chance to deal with the authorities via internet. I was also mentioning the lack of the promotion and visibility of such an initiative. It looks like there is a bit of awareness at least among the hackers since one of the websites part of e-Government -- e-licitatie.ro -- had about 1.38 million hacking trials in 2003, according to the MCTI officials. They claim however that only some 2% were of high level alert, about 55% medium and the rest low.
