That's Thomas'
latest gig, launched
at Innovate!Europe in Spain right after Reboot and directly competing with
Flickr -- or the European Flickr perhaps sounds better. :)

Thanks for notice. Just a quick comment - we're actually called "23" - 23people.com is the url. Would love your comments if you try it out - still in beta/preview to be warned.

flickr in europe
Would love to see an alternative to Flickr, European or otherwise, but 23 is obviously not up to par. And what's wrong with using Flickr in Europe?

Re: flickr in europe
There's nothing wrong with using Flickr in Europe, it's just that competition is good, as simple as that. And of course they're not at par for the moment since, as Thomas said, they're still in beta. Flickr has a firstmover competitive advantage for the moment (btw, they just moved their servers from Vancouver to Yahoo's in California) but the more competition the better for the end user.
A list of 500 companies compiled by BBW, with Gameloft in the top seat, with 236 companies from France, Germany and UK and with only 46 companies coming from the Central Eastern Europe and the Baltics (the New Europe).
