Tony Thompson reports from Caracal, Romania: virtual sweatshops exists. This time in the case of a US-based company in the software gaming business. Besides the city reminding me about the (nasty) Romanian joke about the people from Caracal, I'd say that's another case of speculating the price asssymetries or why outsourcing works in the software industry. Or a simple Sunday story about poor people from Romania. Whichever mood suits you best. :)
