We seem to be the only team from Eastern Europe, and then there's one from each Slovenia, France, Russia, Sweden, the Emirates, Germany, Scotland, Netherlands and Spain and all the others from the UK. All with very interesting business ideas, I am looking forward to meeting those guys.

- fragmented market with over 1300 CMS companies
- for every one product dollar there's five dollars for services
Obviously one of the most important industry play is, or should be towards, the ecosystem developed around your product - both in terms of product development (see the gazilion plugins or extensions developed for Wordpress) and in terms of biz development (i.e. partnerships with players up the value chain such as publishers, ad agencies etc)

Interesting study [pdf] from the Environment Agency about how the heat waves affects us on a societal level.
Fwiw, people living in Bucharest were quite affected by the heat this summer as we experienced temps above 40 Celsius for a few weeks in a row. Actually even today we are under a "yellow heat alert" in Bucharest with a 38 C peak forecasted for tomorrow.

...with urbee. Urbee is a mobile application in a calendar format that list the events and locations from a city - it is already available for Bucharest and we also have a demo for London.
The funny thing is that just prior to Seedcamp launching Andrei and I had decided to focus on urbee more seriously so that we could make it a lucrative business.
We got an email yesterday confirming that we made it to the shortlist and as such we are just one phone interview away from being invited to London for a fantastic schmoozing and mentoring week put together by the Seedcamp guys.
