Fax machines

It looks like in 2004 there were 1.5 mil fax machines sold in the States. I actually had an argument with my business partner about getting one - I claimed that we don't need it since the PC & internet combo plays a great substitute for our communication needs. In Romania it's still used on large scales but keep in mind that the internet penetration is rather low as compared even with countries from Eastern Europe. Things will change for sure.

Btw, are you (still) using fax machines?

    Check out the fax number on my company's website... and that was 2000 :) We only use email... if somebody really wants some paper copied and sent over I just scan it and fill their inbox :)

    LOL, my point exactly. Btw, if you need a domain name from rnc.ro you will need to confirm payment via fax ONLY. I had to call them and ask if I could simply scan the payment confirmation (bilet la ordin). It took me 10 minutes of arguing but I managed it in the end. :)

    Yup, still using fax. Mostly because my Internet connection is over cable (when it was DSL, I could use the phone line to dial a fax # directly from the computer, and send scanned documents.)
