At best, the "next net" sounds like an animated version of usenet. The ability for individuals to broadcast themselves or a remix of others. There is nothing fundamentally earthshattering about the so-called "next net" (not that this is a bad thing). At worst, the article still leaves Megacorporations in a whirling dust cloud as to how to go about making a nickel in an economy which isn't as top-driven as it used to be.
First impulse on 15 companies in 36 months? I got a sense of euphoric high... like back in 2000 when I got to help a dotcom blow 40+ million dollars in 2 short years. Yeeeehaw!
